Microalgae Harvesting System is the most critical part of any microalgae, due to the concentration being very low at 0.05% and the size of the chlorella being microscopic it's usually a difficult ordeal to harvest. The current market standard of using centrifuge is extremely capital intensive and operational expenses. The same is true for most membrane based filtration.
We have the option of using a food grade flocculant or electrocoagulation along our gentle, low electricity drum based harvesting system, making sure your chlorella is gently harvested without any human interference or damage. The low power consumption, autonomous operation with zero labor and very low maintenance cost reduces your operational expense to almost nothing.
The flocculant is a proprietary derivative from another nutraceutical substance and it enhances the quality of chlorella for harvesting. The option of ultra convenient electrocoagulation is also available which uses special non donor or non corroding electrodes keeping the chlorella harvest completely free of any contamination.
